Trade ties b/w Pakistan, KSA reaching new heights

ISLAMABAD: Trade relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are reaching new heights, thanks to the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). Pakistan’s exports to Saudi Arabia have risen by 22 percent, with the total trade volume increasing to 700 million dollars, up from 546 million dollars.

Saudi investors have shown strong interest in investing in Pakistan’s energy, agriculture, IT, and construction sectors. In terms of IT services exports, the target has been revised upwards to 100 million dollars, doubling the initial target of 50 million dollars.

To further streamline the process, Saudi Arabia has set up a help desk to assist in the registration of Pakistani IT companies. Additionally, the renowned Saudi food chain “Albaik” has announced plans to open branches in Pakistan.
