Security sources reported that Afghan forces fired upon Pakistani posts, prompting a retaliatory response from Pakistan’s military, which targeted Afghan positions.

The exchange of fire occurred while Pakistani forces were conducting repairs on the border fence.
According to security sources, Afghan forces incurred significant losses due to Pakistan’s effective counteraction. They emphasized that Pakistan will persist in taking robust measures to safeguard its borders. The sources reiterated that Pakistani security forces will not compromise on their territorial integrity.
