ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has condemned the Acting Afghan Consul General’s disrespect for the national anthem as unacceptable.

She made this statement in response to media questions about the Acting Consul General’s disregard for the national anthem at a Peshawar event.

The Spokesperson noted that showing disrespect for the host country’s national anthem violates diplomatic standards. Mumtaz Zahra Baloch added that Pakistan is lodging a formal protest with Afghan authorities in both Islamabad and Kabul.
