Pakistan, China sign MoU for genetic improvement of cotton
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and China have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on enhancing Pakistan’s cotton yield through advanced technology.
The agreement has been signed between Pakistan’s Ayub Agricultural Research Institute and the Institute of Cotton Research, part of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
According to the MoU, both institutions will jointly work on the genetic development of cotton to boost its production and elevate the global standing of Pakistan’s cotton industry.Government Committed to Enhancing Cotton Production
