ICC announces schedule of Men’s Champions Trophy 2025
LAHORE: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the schedule for the 9th edition of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy, set to commence on 19th February 2025.
The opening match will see Pakistan face New Zealand in Karachi.
This eight-team competition will consist of 15 matches, played across various venues in Pakistan and Dubai.Gaddafi Stadium transformation in full swing
Group A includes defending champions and hosts Pakistan, along with India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh. Group B features 2023 winners Australia, alongside Afghanistan, England, and South Africa.
Dubai will host three of India’s group matches as well as the first semi-final.
In Pakistan, matches will be held at three venues: Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi, with each city hosting three games.
The tournament’s final is scheduled for 9th March in Lahore. However, if India qualifies for the final, the match will take place in Dubai.
