The renovation plan includes bringing spectators closer to the action, with seating areas being moved 20 feet forward. New imported seating, state-of-the-art high-resolution replay screens, and other enhancements will ensure an exceptional match-day experience for cricket-loving fans.

In line with PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi’s vision, the advanced floodlight towers, screens, and seating at Gaddafi Stadium will be repurposed for other venues, raising standards for cricket facilities across the country. The floodlight towers will feature the latest LED technology to improve the quality of live broadcasts, providing a brighter viewing experience for fans worldwide.

Speaking to the media at the construction site on Wednesday, PCB Director of Infrastructure Qazi Jawwad Ahmad stated, “Our continuous efforts on redesign and renovations have made PCB confident of meeting the 31 December deadline.”

“Under the guidance of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, Gaddafi Stadium is being transformed into a world-class venue, enhancing the fan experience and establishing new benchmarks for cricket in Pakistan.”
