Dewan Farooque Motors starts production of electric vehicles

ISLAMABAD: Dewan Farooque Motors Limited, with the backing of the Special Investment Facilitation Council, has commenced the production of electric vehicles at its assembly facility.

In June 2024, it entered into a tool manufacturing agreement with Eco-Green Motors Limited to produce the Henrey-EV electric vehicle.

 As a result of this advancement, Dewan Farooq Motors Limited’s share price increased by 1.8 percent to 52.3 rupees, which is noteworthy.

 Established in 1998, Dewan Farooque Motors Limited is a public limited company in Pakistan involved in the assembly, manufacturing, and sales of vehicles.

 The initiatives of SIFC aimed at promoting electric vehicles will significantly benefit Pakistan’s economic stability, environmental sustainability, and technological development.
