Punjab CM approves Rs62b for Apni-Chhat-Apna Ghar Program

ISLAMABAD: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has allocated sixty-two billion rupees for the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” program.

During a special meeting held in Lahore today, the Chief Minister set a target to disburse loans to forty thousand individuals under this initiative by May.Punjab Govt approves CM Dialysis Program Card

She instructed the authorities to expedite the loan distribution process and directed an evaluation of the proposal to raise the loan limit from 1.5 million rupees to 2 million rupees.

Maryam Nawaz emphasized that every homeless individual deserves a roof over their head, stating that owning a house is a fundamental right of every citizen.

In the meeting, it was disclosed that approximately five thousand citizens have already benefited from loans under this program, while over 4,200 houses are nearing completion.
