European Union officially lifts ban on PIA
ISLAMABAD : The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has officially lifted the suspension on flight operations of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), marking a significant milestone for the country’s aviation sector.
Nadir Shafi Dar, Director General of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), also announced that Airblue has received Third Country Operator (TCO) authorization.Banks start receiving Hajj applications
DG CAA expressed deep gratitude to the Prime Minister, the Aviation Minister, and the Secretary of Aviation for their unwavering support, which played a pivotal role in achieving this landmark accomplishment.
He commended his team’s relentless efforts and dedication to maintaining effective safety oversight, emphasizing the collective achievement for the entire nation, the airlines, and the broader aviation industry.
Furthermore, DG CAA extended special appreciation to the officials of the European Commission and the European Aviation Safety Agency for their consistent collaboration and assistance throughout the process of reinstating flight operations.
