All 21 matches of the tournament will be hosted at the LCCA Ground, with two matches scheduled each day. The first match will commence at 9:00 AM, followed by the second match at 1:00 PM PKT.
The tournament will showcase 75 young cricketers, with a total prize pool of PKR 1.1 million. The tournament champion will receive PKR 0.5 million, while the runners-up will earn PKR 0.3 million.
Additionally, this upcoming tournament is anticipated to provide teenage cricketers with a significant opportunity to demonstrate their skills and vie for a position on the Pakistan Women’s U19 team for the upcoming ACC U19 T20 tournament later this year, as well as the ICC U19 Women’s T20 in Malaysia in January 2025.
Among the 75 players participating, eight cricketers—Areesha Ansari (Conquerors), Komal Khan (Conquerors), Laiba Nasir (Conquerors), Maham Anaees (Strikers), Memoona Khalid (Stars), Ravail Farhan (Conquerors), Samiya Afsar (Conquerors), and Zoofishan Ayyaz (Strikers)—were part of the 15-member Pakistan U19 squad that competed in this year’s Women’s U19 Tri-Nation tournament in Bangladesh.
Moreover, the tournament will unite players from 15 different cities, including Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, Haveli Lakha, Hunza, Mardan, Toba Tek Singh, Vehari, and Wah Cantt. These 75 players were chosen after the Pakistan Cricket Board assigned the national women’s selection committee, led by former Test cricketer Asad Shafiq and former international cricketer Batool Fatima, to conduct nationwide open trials in August and September of this year.
