Wild Bear Attacks Pakistani Singer During Camping Trip

Pakistani singer Quratulain Balouch was injured in a bear attack while camping at the Deosai National Park in Gilgit-Baltistan, officials confirmed on Friday.

The incident occurred during a camping trip when a Himalayan brown bear attacked the singer, leaving injuries on both her arms. Doctors later confirmed that the wounds were caused by the bear’s claws.

Balouch was rushed to a regional hospital in Skardu where she underwent emergency treatment. Hospital staff reported that her condition stabilized after receiving medical care, and she was discharged shortly after. Doctors assured that she is now out of danger.

Authorities have not shared the exact details of how the bear encounter unfolded, but the incident has triggered safety concerns for tourists visiting Deosai, a high-altitude plateau famous for its wildlife and scenic beauty.
