ISLAMABAD: The United Kingdom has pledged £108 million in funding to assist Pakistani businesses in addressing the challenges posed by climate change.
As per a press release from the UK Government, the announcement was made by Minister for the Middle East, Hamish Falconer, during his visit to Pakistan.UK Launches Chevening Mentorship for Young Climate Leaders in Pakistan
This funding aims to support local businesses in advancing climate technologies and building expertise to combat climate change.
The initiative, the first of its kind, will be implemented in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation and is expected to generate over 100,000 jobs across Pakistan.
