UCP Hosts Japanese Language Seminar

Lahore: The University of Central Punjab (UCP) hosted a high-impact seminar on “Japanese Language as a Career Path for Pakistani Youth.”

More than 200 students, educators, and professionals attended the session. The Organizers conducted the seminar under the national Japan Career Pathway Program.

They aimed to guide Pakistani youth toward careers through Japanese language and cultural understanding.

Ms. Sitara Arif, National Director at the Federal Ministry of Education and President of PJSA, led the speaker panel.

Mr. Muhammad Basharat, Executive Member PJSA, addressed job market prospects in Japan.

Ms. Sajjal Rehman, Corporate Head Coordinator, discussed career support mechanisms.

Speakers emphasized Japan’s rising demand for professionals in IT, healthcare, hospitality, and engineering.

They introduced the JLPT exam as a gateway to Japanese universities and jobs.

They also informed participants about MEXT and JASSO scholarships.

Ms. Arif announced upcoming incentives for female students and trainers.

She urged women to pursue Japanese education for long-term empowerment.

She highlighted Japan’s safety, respect for women, and structured lifestyle.

Prof. Dr. Khalid Manzoor Butt, Dean at UCP, delivered the keynote address.

He encouraged students to spend 6–8 months mastering Japanese for future success.

Ms. Arif inspired youth to see Japan as a path to peace, growth, and dignity.

Participants engaged in networking and received invitations to future PJSA training events.

PJSA will hold upcoming sessions in partnership with the Embassy of Japan and Pakistan’s Ministry of Education.
