Team Eco-EduTech from Daharki’ wins entrepreneur competition in British High Commission
ISLAMABAD: In the annual Inter-School Business Competition, Team Eco-EduTech from Daharki emerged as the winner of the eighth cycle of the Enterprise Challenge Pakistan, organized by the British High Commission in Islamabad.

The event, held in Islamabad, was hosted by the British High Commissioner Jane Marriott CMB OBE, in collaboration with King’s Trust International and SEED Ventures. Their innovative concept showcased the potential of inclusion and creativity in solving real-world problems.
Enterprise Challenge Pakistan is the country’s largest national entrepreneurship competition for students under 18. This year’s finals, held on January 18, featured groundbreaking startup ideas from five teams representing various regions of Pakistan.
Some of the standout ideas included:
- Peshawar: Green Sprout Farm – An innovative solution aimed at maximizing agricultural yields while minimizing water usage and space.
- Multan: Paws on Wheels – A business concept providing professional pet healthcare services delivered directly to customers’ doorsteps.
- Quetta: Nutribites – Nutrient-rich gummies offering a convenient and healthier alternative to traditional pills and tablets.
- Islamabad: Aqua Wave – A portable water purification bottle designed to provide instant access to clean drinking water anytime, anywhere.
Prizes were awarded to teams based on their creativity, environmental sustainability, financial feasibility, and social impact.
The King’s Trust Global Young Achiever Award Asia 2024 was awarded to Mahnoor for her innovative idea of utilizing fly larvae and food waste to produce sustainable products like organic chicken feed and powdered chitosan.
While addressing the competition, British High Commissioner Jane Marriott expressed her admiration for the extraordinary young finalists. She remarked, “Meeting these remarkable students and learning about their innovative business ideas, as well as how they are contributing to their communities, has left me energized and hopeful as we step into 2025.”
