According to the decision, Chief Secretaries of all provinces will oversee the immediate setup of sugar stalls in their respective regions. Sindh will host 230 stalls, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will establish 405 selling points, while Punjab and Balochistan will have numerous stalls as well. This initiative seeks to ensure sugar accessibility for the general public while preventing stockpiling and artificial price hikes. The provincial administrations will be responsible for security, sanitation, and crowd control at these locations.

Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain stressed the importance of an uninterrupted sugar supply until the 27th of Ramadan. A dedicated committee will be formed to address any emerging issues swiftly. He highlighted that the municipal-level stalls aim to provide direct relief to the public, and the government will closely oversee the execution of this plan to guarantee its success.

Additionally, the Pakistan Sugar Mills Association (PSMA) and provincial authorities have been directed to fully support this initiative to maintain a steady supply chain, ensuring that economically disadvantaged groups have easy access to sugar during Ramadan. The governments of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will implement special security measures to facilitate the safe transportation and distribution of sugar.

The federal government remains steadfast in its commitment to stabilizing sugar prices and delivering maximum relief to the public during Ramadan.
