Study Finds Goat Milk Aids Strength and Cuts Inflammation

A recent medical study has suggested that goat’s milk may offer greater health benefits than cow’s milk, particularly in supporting muscle strength, reducing inflammation, and aiding physical performance.

The research, which was published on a medical platform, focused on the effects of different types of milk on aging mice suffering from sarcopenia — a condition that leads to gradual muscle loss with age.

Researchers fed the mice various milk types and monitored changes in muscle function, body fat, and gut health. Those that consumed goat’s milk, especially the low-fat version enriched with vitamin D and calcium, showed the most positive results. The mice in this group displayed stronger muscle fibers, reduced inflammation, and faster physical recovery.

The study highlighted that goat milk contains several bioactive compounds that help improve muscle strength while also lowering inflammation. Experts noted that this type of milk could strengthen immunity and promote healthy gut bacteria, both of which are vital for older individuals.

While cow’s milk did show some beneficial outcomes, it was goat’s milk that proved significantly more effective across various indicators of physical health.
