Stable Gold Rates Offer Relief to Investors
Gold prices in Pakistan remained unchanged on Monday, July 28, with the per tola rate holding at Rs356,400 and the price of 10 grams staying firm at Rs305,555.
The rates were consistent across major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, and Peshawar, reflecting a stable trend nationwide.
Despite recent fluctuations, gold continues to be viewed as a safe investment choice for many Pakistanis, especially in the backdrop of inflation and a weakening local currency.
Traders noted that demand remained steady, as buyers preferred to hold on to the metal as a hedge against economic instability.
The price of 22K gold stood at Rs330,733 per tola, while 10 grams were valued at Rs283,552. A single gram of 22K gold was priced at Rs28,355, and one ounce was available at Rs803,682.
Although gold has seen some movement over the past week, the latest price reflects a pause after a short downward trend. On July 23, for instance, the price peaked at Rs364,900 before falling steadily over subsequent days.
