Sadaf Afridi reaches National Junior Squash Championship final, aiming for Trophy victory

ISLAMABAD: Rising squash talent Sadaf Afridi from Peshawar has demonstrated her remarkable skills by advancing to the final of the U-15 Plate Event at the Shell Pakistan National Junior Squash Championship 2025, currently taking place in Islamabad.

The championship, scheduled from January 15 to 19, has brought together young athletes from across the country to compete in various categories.

Renowned for her exceptional gameplay, Sadaf Afridi earned her place in the final with an outstanding semi-final performance, where she decisively defeated her competitor.

Originating from Peshawar, a city celebrated for producing world-class squash legends such as Jansher Khan, Jahangir Khan, and Qamar Zaman, Sadaf credited her success to her relentless effort, the consistent guidance of her coaches, and the unwavering encouragement from her parents.

“It is a tremendous privilege for me to reach the final of this esteemed championship. My ultimate aspiration is to bring pride to my country,” Sadaf Afridi stated.
