Islamabad: The federal government has increased the prices of petroleum products, raising petrol by Rs 1.35 per liter.
The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification regarding the changes in petroleum product prices, stating that petrol has become Rs 1.35 more expensive, while high-speed diesel oil has increased by Rs 3.85 per liter.Pakistan Ministers Engage Chinese Firms for Petroleum Investments
According to the notification, kerosene has been reduced by Rs 1.48 and light diesel oil by Rs 2.61 per liter. The new prices for petroleum products will be applicable for the next 15 days.
The notification indicates that the changes in petroleum prices have been made in light of fluctuations in international oil prices.
After the increase, the price of petrol has risen from Rs 247.03 per liter to Rs 248.38 per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel has gone up from Rs 251.29 per liter to Rs 255.14 per liter.
Similarly, the price of kerosene has decreased from Rs 163.02 per liter to Rs 161.54 per liter, and the price of light diesel oil has fallen from Rs 150.12 per liter to Rs 147.51 per liter.
