Shaza Fatima vows to build digital Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: The Minister of State for Information Technology, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, has reaffirmed the government’s dedication to developing a digital Pakistan.
Speaking at an event in Islamabad on Wednesday, she stressed the importance of collaborative efforts to promote innovation among the youth.

She indicated that the private sector should take a leading role in realizing a digital Pakistan.
Shaza Fatima mentioned that the government is striving to provide unmatched stable and high-speed digital connectivity.
She pointed out that Pakistan’s position in the UN’s e-governance development index has risen by fourteen points. She noted that we are one of only two countries in Asia that have progressed from the middle tier of digital e-governance to the upper tier, calling this a remarkable achievement.
The Minister of State also remarked that Pakistan has made significant advancements in the field of cybersecurity, attaining top-tier status in this area.
