Serena Chowk Interchange Project will be completed in 3 months:Naqvi
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior, Mohsin Naqvi, on Friday visited the Serena Chowk Interchange project and announced its expedited completion timeline.
He stated that the project, originally planned to take 10 months, will now be completed in just 3 months, instructing the CDA to finish it ahead of schedule.
During the visit, he inspected the construction site, reviewed ongoing activities, and emphasized the need for timely completion.PAF committed to promoting squash at all levels
The Interior Minister highlighted that this major project will significantly alleviate traffic congestion in the capital and provide convenience for visitors from other cities.
He noted that the project includes the construction of two underpasses and connecting roads and assured that he is personally overseeing its progress to ensure it meets the revised deadline.
To achieve this, Mohsin Naqvi directed 24/7 construction work and stressed the importance of strictly implementing an alternative traffic plan during the project. He also called for effective management to maintain smooth traffic flow during construction.
A detailed briefing was provided to the Interior Minister regarding the project, with the Chairman CDA, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, and other senior officials in attendance.
