Islamabad: The Saudi Riyal (SAR) on Friday witnessed a minor decline to Rs 74.89 against the Pakistani Rupee in the open market. It stood at Rs 74.91 on April 30, 2025. The Riyal is abbreviated as SAR or SR. This is Saudi Arabia’s official currency.

But it was traded at Rs 74.90, and the selling rate was Rs 75.44.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have been enjoying good relations, and the latter is the largest contributor to remittances to Pakistan.

It has also been providing oil on deferred payment to ease pressure on foreign exchange. In the past, it had also deposited dollars in the central bank when Pakistan had sustained a dollar crisis.
