Rawalpindi – Imran Khan has claimed that the new proposed amendments following the NAB (National Accountability Bureau) amendments are solely aimed at protecting the personal interests of the elite and keeping him in jail. However, he stated that they will never remain silent. A historic rally and peaceful protest will be held in Lahore on September 21.

Speaking to the media from Adiala Jail, he said that the establishment of a constitutional court is being implemented because they are afraid of the Supreme Court. The new amendments will destroy the country’s future; the sole purpose of the constitutional amendments is to keep him in jail.

The founder of PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) stated that the rulers have decided to ruin the judiciary. Everything is being done to conceal election fraud. They are scared that if the elections are open, everything will be reversed. The rule of law is being trampled upon; there cannot be a greater injustice against the country.

He said that in the NAB amendments, they have protected their own corruption by forgiving their billions of rupees. Everything is happening against national interests, including threats to judges, abductions of people, and the destruction of a political party, which will lead to increased political instability.

Imran Khan stated that he stands with judges and journalists. They want to bring back Qazi Faiz Isa to destroy the judiciary, and they think he will remain silent against it. He assured that they will protest vigorously against it.
