Punjab Information Technology Board delegation visited SCCI

SIALKOT: A delegation from the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) visited the Business Facilitation Centre (BFC) and the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI).

The team included Project Director Haroon Rasul and Project Director Syed Faizan Bukhari.

SCCI Vice President Omer Khalid, SME Committee Convener Faizan Akbar, and Electronic and Social Media Committee Convener Ejaz Ghauri warmly received the PITB team.

During the briefing, Project Director Haroon Rasul lauded the Punjab government’s efforts and highlighted the need for continued collaboration to promote such innovative initiatives. He elaborated that the “Maryam Ki Dastak” program aims to deliver various government services directly to citizens’ doorsteps, ensuring accessibility and convenience.

Haroon Rasul also delivered a detailed presentation on the program’s objectives, scope, and accomplishments, emphasizing the importance of ongoing feedback to enhance its effectiveness.

SCCI Vice President Omer Khalid, along with conveners Faizan Akbar and Ejaz Ghauri, commended the initiative, calling it a groundbreaking step. They pledged their full support for the program on behalf of SCCI and committed to keeping members informed about its details through emails, social media platforms, and the SCCI Monthly Bulletin.
