Punjab govt distributes over 15,000 braille books among visually impaired students
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced that over 15,000 braille books have been distributed to visually impaired students.
In her message on World Braille Day, she highlighted that more than 3,000 special children were enrolled in schools across the province during the current academic year.

The Chief Minister also stated that the Holy Quran in braille, along with supportive equipment, is being provided to special students to facilitate their education.
She further mentioned that efforts are underway to establish the country’s first school dedicated to autism, emphasizing the government’s commitment to supporting individuals with special needs.
