Punjab Govt decides to introduce Community Health Services program

LAHORE: The Punjab Government has decided to launch the Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services program to improve the health sector in the province.

This decision was made during a meeting held in Lahore on Saturday, chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.Punjab CM approves Rs62b for Apni-Chhat-Apna Ghar Program

During the meeting, the Chief Minister called for a detailed plan regarding community health services.

She instructed the implementation of immediate steps to make the community health services operational.

The meeting attendees were informed that currently, forty-seven percent of the population is covered by the existing health services.
