Punjab CM directs Chief Secretary to personally monitor drive against price hike

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has instructed the Chief Secretary to personally oversee the campaign against inflation and hoarding in the province.

While presiding over a meeting in Lahore on Sunday, she emphasized the need to prominently display the official price list at all shops and closely monitor the supply and demand of essential commodities to curb hoarding.Punjab CM launches Maskan-e-Ravi Housing Scheme

Maryam Nawaz stated that the availability and pricing of fruits and vegetables will be strictly regulated during the holy month of Ramadan, and stringent legal measures will be taken against unjustified price increases.
