Petroleum Prices Likely to Rise from June 16

Islamabad: The prices of petroleum products may go up across the board from June 16, 2025 in line with oil prices fluctuation in global market.

According to available data, the price of Petrol (PMG) is likely to go up by Rs1.12 per litre, reaching Rs254.75 from the current Rs253.63.

Similarly, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) may jump up by Rs5.27 per liter to Rs259.91 against current price of Rs254.64. This may be the highest expected increase among all petroleum products.

Kerosene oil is likely to witness an increase of Rs4.16 per liter to Rs169.21. The price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) may hike by Rs4.13 to the price to Rs156.10 per liter.

These adjustments, if implemented, would reflect a 1.0% to 2.1% rise in prices due to changes in global oil prices and adjustments in exchange rates.

Prices of petroleum products likely to be curtailed

The finance ministry will announce a final decision in consultation with the prime minister.
