Per Tola Gold Price in Pakistan Drops by Rs5,000

Karachi — Gold prices per Tola in Pakistan have dropped sharply in the local market on Friday following a slump in global gold market. It dropped by Rs5,000 to Rs351,000.

The price of 10-gram gold has also witnessed a decline by Rs4,287 to Rs300,925. This decline in prices of gold comes after it gained Rs1,335 per tola on Thursday.

Gold Price Set to Rise Amid Tensions

The international price of gold also witnessed a drop of $53 as it went down to $3,290 per ounce, with a $20 premium, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Silver prices in Pakistan have also registered a decline in local market as it its per tola price decreased by Rs68 to close at Rs3,782.

The local bullion market has also followed the global trend closely. Dealers have expected that continued volatility amid changing global economic signals was result of fluctuation in prices of gold and silver.
