Pakistan’s Embassy organizes TVET Forum in Beijing
BEIJING: The Pakistan Embassy in Beijing hosted the inaugural China-Pakistan Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Forum today, marking a significant step forward in fostering bilateral collaboration in education and human resource development.

In his opening speech, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, referred to the Forum as a crucial milestone in the Embassy’s efforts to support Pakistan’s industrialization process.
Ambassador Hashmi expressed optimism that the Forum would play a key role in creating a skilled workforce capable of contributing to the successful implementation of CPEC projects in the upcoming phase.
He also praised the invaluable support provided by ITMC, China, in introducing high-quality TVET programs in Pakistan.
In a pre-recorded message, Professor Ahsan Iqbal, Pakistan’s Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, emphasized the pivotal role of TVET in driving sustainable economic growth.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to working with China to expand TVET initiatives as part of Pakistan’s five E’s development framework.
