ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ayla Majid has made history by becoming the first Muslim and South Asian to be appointed President of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Ayla Majid will oversee more than 252,500 members and 526,000 future members of ACCA across 180 countries during her one-year term.

She holds an MBA from the Lahore University of Management Sciences and a Law degree from the University of London.
