Pakistan Rupee against Dollar on May 6, 2025

Islamabad: The Pakistani rupee against US dollar on Tuesday registered a depreciation 0.05% in the inter-bank market.
At close of market, the local currency stood at 281.37, registering a loss of Rs0.15 against the greenback.
The rupee on Monday closed at 281.22 against US dollar.
The Taiwan dollar on Monday had witnessed a hike to a three-year high of 29.59 per dollar. It had registered leapt 8% in two days following US-Taiwan trade talks in Washington.SSDO Condoles Pakistani Deaths in Spain, Urges Migration Reform
It had stood steady last at 30.02 per US dollar.
Oil that is considered to be a key indicator of currency parity had remained steady on Tuesday.
Though it had hit four-year lows in the previous session following an OPEC+ decision to increase output.
It had caused fears of oversupply at a time when US tariffs had raised concerns regarding demand.
Brent crude futures had also went up 10 cents and reached $60.33 a barrel by 0050 GMT.
However, US West Texas Intermediate crude had also increased 10 cents and touched $57.23 a barrel.
