Pakistan recorded $1.2b current account surplus last month

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan registered a current account surplus of $1.2 billion in March this year , marking the highest monthly surplus ever recorded for the country.

This positive balance contributed to a cumulative surplus of $1.8 billion over the first nine months of the current fiscal year, which is being seen as an encouraging economic indicator.

Remittances also hit an all-time high in March, reaching $4 billion, while exports saw a notable rise of 8.7 percent compared to previous figures.Pakistan Posts $582M Current Account Surplus in Dec 2024
