Pakistan plans to launch Panda Bond by June: Aurangzeb
ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has announced Pakistan’s plan to introduce a Panda Bond by June this year, aiming to strengthen the country’s engagement with China’s capital markets.

The minister underlined that this initiative is part of a larger vision to shift Pakistan’s economy toward export-led growth, focusing on sustainable management of the country’s balance of payments.
He further stressed the significance of the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), stating that it would attract more Chinese enterprises and pave the way for increased investments.
Additionally, Muhammad Aurangzeb invited Hong Kong to dispatch delegations to explore business and financial opportunities in Pakistan.
He noted that Hong Kong could play a pivotal role as a strategic center for fostering joint ventures between Chinese and Pakistani companies.
