ISLAMABAD: Pakistan expresses serious concern over the rising hostilities in the Middle East, urging all involved parties to prioritize peace.

In recent months, Israel has increasingly acted in violation of international law and the UN Charter, resulting in a severe humanitarian crisis. Israel has jeopardized regional peace and security with the ongoing atrocities in Gaza. The recent incursion into Lebanon has further heightened these tensions, impacting the lives of innocent civilians.

Pakistan reaffirms its call for the UN Security Council to maintain peace and security in the region, protect Lebanon’s sovereignty, and put an end to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
