ISLAMABAD: Dr. Umar Aftab, the Chief Executive Officer of Pink Ribbon, has stated that Pakistan has the highest incidence of breast cancer in Asia.

Dr. Aftab highlighted that a campaign has been ongoing for the past 22 years to educate women about the importance of early detection. He urged women to prioritize their health and seek medical advice without delay, mentioning that government hospitals are now well-equipped for breast cancer treatment. He also called on women to focus on their health by undergoing timely mammography screenings.
While discussing the Pink Ribbon Hospital, Dr. Aftab emphasized that Pink Ribbon has established a specialized breast cancer hospital in Lahore that offers free diagnostic services. He added that within two months, the hospital will begin providing surgical and chemotherapy facilities.
