Pakistan and Italy express optimism about the potential for joint ventures in energy

ISLAMABAD: Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik held a constructive meeting with Her Excellency, Marilina Armellin, the Italian Ambassador to Pakistan, at the Ministry of Petroleum on Monday. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, specifically in oil and gas.

During the discussions, both parties highlighted the potential for increased collaboration between Italy and Pakistan in areas such as energy exploration, technology transfer, and investment opportunities.

Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik welcomed the Italian delegation and emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships to address energy challenges and foster economic growth. He acknowledged Italy’s expertise in the energy field and expressed optimism about potential future joint ventures.
