ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Petroleum Dr. Musadik Malik visited YanChang Petroleum, a prominent Chinese energy company, during the 8th Silk Route Expo in China.

This visit highlights the commitment of both nations to strengthen their strategic partnership in energy exploration, innovation, and sustainable development.

The senior leadership at YanChang Petroleum provided Dr. Malik with a comprehensive overview of the company’s ongoing projects and future growth plans.

Exports recorded ample increase due to SIFC’s efforts

Discussions centered on several critical areas, including oil and gas exploration, refinery collaboration, integrated coal industrial complexes, and technological advancements.

The Minister emphasized the significance of international cooperation in addressing growing energy demands. He noted that Pakistan and China share common goals in achieving energy security, viewing this visit as a chance to explore new collaboration opportunities that align with both countries’ commitments to innovation in the energy sector.

Dr. Malik was also briefed on the company’s latest advancements in energy technologies, such as renewable energy integration and carbon capture initiatives.
