Govt Increases Oil Prices Up to Rs 8.14 per liter

The government on Monday hiked oil prices in April 2024 up to Rs 8.14 per liter following fluctuation in global oil prices.

These prices are effective from April 16, 2024.

Finance Ministry in a statement said that the prices of Petroleum products have seen an increasing trend in the international market during the last fortnight.Pakistan Suffers $35m Monthly Loss Due To Oil Smuggling: OCAC

It said that the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had worked out the consumer prices, based on the price variations in the international market. The prices of Motor Spirit & HSD for the next fortnight, starting from 16th April 2024.
