OGRA Increases LNG Prices
Staff Report:
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Friday raised the price of RLNG by 2.68 percent for the consumers of both gas companies—Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC)—for the month of November.
The regulator said that the increase in RLNG prices was mainly due to the rise in the delivered ex-ship price (DES).”PPL Production Declines, FY25 Forecast at 0.7 BCFde
On a month-to-month basis, the price of RLNG for SNGPL consumers has been increased by $0.3216 per MMBtu, from $12.9393 per MMBtu in October to $13.2609 per MMBtu in November.
SSGC consumers will now pay $12.8005 per MMBtu, up from the previous month’s price of $12.4659 per MMBtu—an increase of $0.3346 per MMBtu, or 2.68 percent.
At the transmission stage of RLNG, the price for SNGPL has been set at $12.3695 per MMBtu, up from $12.0714 per MMBtu previously. SSGC will now pay $11.2166 per MMBtu, compared to $10.9238 per MMBtu before.
The regulator calculated the RLNG prices based on six cargos arriving under long-term agreements with Qatar and one cargo from a spot purchase.
Unaccounted-for gas (UFG) has been incorporated on a provisional basis at 0.12 percent for transmission and 12.62 percent for transmission and distribution.
