No Iesco Bill Collection through Post Offices from July 1, 2025
ISLAMABAD: According to Chief Engineer Customer Services IESCO, Mr. Ghulam Sarwar, Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has issued directives to discontinue the collection of electricity bills through post offices effective from July 1, 2025. This decision aims to ensure timely digital payment of electricity bills and to eliminate the inconvenience faced by consumers in bill payment.
The IESCO administration is moving towards digitalization to enhance transparency in official matters and to further improve customer service. Consumers are advised to pay their electricity bills through all commercial banks, microfinance institutions, mobile applications, Easypaisa, JazzCash, and other available digital channels.
Necessary instructions have already been communicated to all post offices and IESCO offices in this regard. For further information or assistance, consumers are encouraged to contact their nearest IESCO office or customer facilitation center
