In the first innings of the Mumbai Test, India was all out for 235 runs. In response, India scored 236 runs, taking a slim lead.
In their second innings, the Kiwis collapsed for 174 runs, giving Rohit Sharma’s team a target of just 146 runs to win. However, the Indian batting lineup crumbled like a sandcastle.
Aside from three batsmen, no other Indian batter reached double figures, with captain Rohit Sharma scoring 11 runs, Washington Sundar 12 runs, and Rishabh Pant leading with a score of 64 runs.
For New Zealand, Ajaz Patel took 6 Indian wickets for just 57 runs.
