New Gwadar Int’l Airport fully operationalized
ISLAMABAD: The New Gwadar International Airport Project (NGIAP), a prominent venture under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), is now fully functional.
The airport boasts cutting-edge facilities, capable of handling up to 400,000 passengers annually.

Equipped with an advanced air traffic control system, navigational aids, modern security measures, and passenger-friendly amenities, the airport sets a high standard.
Situated strategically in the Gwadar district of Balochistan, it covers an expansive area of approximately 4,300 acres.
This project was completed at an estimated cost of $246 million, financed through contributions from the Government of Pakistan, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, and grants from the Sultanate of Oman and China.
