Govt decides to organize mineral conference next month
Islamabad: The government has planned to hold a minerals conference in Islamabad next month to explore mineral resources valued at $8 trillion under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
The Reko Diq project, with a total investment of $5.5 billion, is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2028 and is projected to generate an annual revenue of $2.8 billion.

Additionally, the government is considering offering five key projects in the minerals sector to the UAE.
In collaboration with SIFC, plans are also being discussed to establish a rail link between Gwadar and Chagai.
