Messi Steals Spotlight at Coldplay Concert in Miami
Football legend Lionel Messi was seen enjoying a Coldplay concert at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Sunday night.
The Inter Miami captain attended the show with his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, and their three children, watching from a private suite.
Antonela later posted photos of the outing on Instagram, showing the family smiling and clearly enjoying their night out.
Messi was not part of Inter Miami’s squad over the weekend as he served a one-match suspension.
The ban followed his absence from the MLS All-Star Game in Austin, Texas, the previous week.
During the concert, Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, surprised the audience by acknowledging Messi in the crowd.
As the couple appeared on the stadium’s big screen, Martin called Messi “the number one sports person of all time,” a statement that drew huge applause and chants of “Messi! Messi!” from the audience.
Videos from the concert quickly went viral, adding to the online buzz surrounding the football star’s appearances off the pitch.
The Messi moment came just days after another viral scene from the same venue, where Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR head Kristin Cabot were caught in a kiss-cam moment.
Since arriving at Inter Miami, Messi has continued to make headlines both on and off the field. His presence has attracted significant attention, turning him into a major public figure in American sports and entertainment circles.
