ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has urged the initiation of a crop insurance scheme to enhance the financial security of the farming community.
While speaking with the country head of a crop insurance firm, Engineer Dawood Durrani, in Islamabad, he expressed optimism that the implementation of a crop insurance program would provide financial relief to farmers affected by climate change.
Faisal Karim Kundi mentioned that initiatives are in progress to foster an agricultural revolution aimed at ensuring food security through the development of long-term projects. They also explored various aspects of agricultural insurance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
