KSE 100 Index Up 440 Points
The KSE-100 Index closed at 136,380, recording an increase of 440 points or 0.32%. The session was marked by consolidation, with the index oscillating between an intraday high of 137,232 and a low of 135,543, as investors booked profits—particularly in banking stocks.
Support for the index came mainly from FFC, ENGROH, EFERT, PSEL, and ATRL, which together added 1,160 points. On the downside, UBL, MEBL, and MCB weighed on the index, collectively subtracting 443 points.

Market activity remained strong, with total trading volume reaching 701 million shares and overall turnover at Rs. 32 billion. PIBTL led the volumes, with 90 million shares traded.
