Jazz,British Council and Tech Valley To Expand Digital Learning

Islamabad: Jazz has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the British Council and Tech Valley.
The signing ceremony was held at Jazz Headquarters.
Tech Valley is the exclusive Google for Education partner in Pakistan.
The partnership will continue for two years.
The objective is to expand access to digital education across Pakistan.
It will also promote capacity building and social development.
Jazz will utilize its digital infrastructure for this initiative.
The programs will align with Pakistan’s socio-economic priorities.
The partnership combines Jazz’s network reach, British Council’s learning expertise, and Tech Valley’s technology tools.
The focus areas include teacher training and youth capacity building.
The program will target underserved communities.
It will design education technology interventions for maximum impact.
Syed Zaheer Mehdi is the Group Chief Corporate and Regulatory Officer at Jazz.
He said that education access should not depend on location, gender, or circumstance.
He emphasized the need to unlock human potential through technology.
He said the partnership will create opportunities for youth and women in marginalized areas.
James Hampson is the Country Director of British Council Pakistan.
He said this partnership unites three committed organizations.
He called this initiative a first for the British Council in Pakistan.
