Jamshoro Plant to Become Operational By 2QCY26

The Jamshoro plant has delayed its operations due to regulatory requirements and will become operational now by 2QCY26.
With the commencement of the Jamshoro plant, Panadol’s production capacity will enhance from 6bn tablets to 9bn tablets. Plus, margins will also expand.

The management conveyed that the Jamshoro plant will become operational by 2QCY26. The commencement date got delayed due to regulatory requirements.
With the commencement of the Jamshoro plant, Panadol’s production capacity will enhance from 6bn tablets to 9bn tablets. Plus, margins will also expand.
Revenue growth of 18% YoY in CY24 was primarily driven by an increase in product prices. The FMCG portfolio saw a 10% price hike, while within the OTC segment, prices of essential products rose in the range of 7-10%, and non-essential products experienced a sharper price increase of up to 25%.
Revenue-wise, the OTC segment led with sales of Rs31bn in CY24 (up 18% YoY), followed by the FMCG segment contributing Rs4.4bn (up 10.7% YoY), and the tolling segment stood at Rs1.5bn (up 26% YoY).
Within the OTC segment, essential products account for 87% of the total revenue, while the remaining 13% falls under the non-essential category, where prices are deregulated.
Currently, the company holds cash of Rs4.5bn, which will support future expansion, working capital needs, and upcoming product launches.
