Islamabad: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) discharged 99,800 cusecs of water from various rim stations, while the inflow stood at 43,800 cusecs.
As per the data shared by IRSA, the water level at Tarbela Dam on the Indus River was measured at 1494.60 feet, which is 96.60 feet above its dead storage level of 1,398 feet. The water inflow and outflow at the dam were recorded at 20,100 cusecs and 55,000 cusecs, respectively.Govt Fixes Wheat Production Target at 33.58m Tons
At Mangla Dam on the Jhelum River, the water level was recorded at 1157.15 feet, which is 107.15 feet above its dead storage level of 1,050 feet. The inflow and outflow at the dam were noted as 5,900 cusecs and 27,000 cusecs, respectively.
Water releases at Kalabagh, Taunsa, Guddu, and Sukkur were reported at 60,400, 45,400, 36,900, and 6,200 cusecs, respectively. In addition, from the Kabul River, a total of 10,900 cusecs was released at Nowshera, while 2,500 cusecs was discharged from the Chenab River at Marala.
